1. Bachelor's degree or above, in mechanical design, mold design, industrial design, or a related major;
2. Master the fundamentals of product structural design, and be familiar with fit tolerances and GD&T standards and notation;
3. Proficient in 2D/3D design software such as Cre* and U*;
4. Familiar with mechanical manufacturing (sheet metal, injection molding, die casting), material properties, and industry standards;
5. At least 3 years of structural design experience, preferably in encoders, sensors, servo motors, or robotics; 3 mature product examples to be provided.
Requirements:
1. Participate in early project design reviews and communicate technical specifications with customers and suppliers.
2. Perform 3D structural design based on product requirements, produce engineering drawings and BOM documents, and lead sample prototyping, testing, and validation.
3. Collaborate with hardware, software, and production teams on product architecture and stacking, provide process guidance, and optimize design to balance cost, performance, and manufacturability.
4. Track design issues during trial and mass production, perform engineering analysis and propose improvements, ensuring products meet safety standards.
5. A sense of responsibility, communication and coordination skills, and teamwork; able to work under project pressure and complete tasks independently, with meticulous rigor and a commitment to continuous learning.
